1. Lemon


Lemon has acidic and a mild astringent property which dries out pimples. It also has vitamin C which cleans skin. Always make sure to use fresh-squeezed lemon juice!



Process – 1:


  • Wash face.

  • Soak a cotton ball in lemon juice.

  • Mix equal quantities of lemon juice and ground oil.

  • Mix small amounts of fresh lime juice and rose water.

Process – 5: (Lemon with Sandalwood and Cinnamon Powder)


  • Mix fresh lime juice and a pinch of sandalwood powder and cinnamon powder to make a paste.

  • Apply to the affected area and let it completely dry.

  • Rinse with water and pat dry.

Process – 6: (Lemon with Cucumber)


  • Combine grated cucumber and 2 – 3 tablespoons of lime juice to make a paste.

Process – 7: (Lemon with Pomegranate Peel)


  • Grind roasted pomegranate peels to make a powder.

  • Mix a cup of milk and either lemon or lime juice.

2. Garlic

Process – 1:


  • Rube a fresh garlic clove halve on the affected area.

  • Then rub the garlic on your pimples and leave it for about 5 minutes.

  • Leave for 5 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.

  • Repeat 2 – 3 times daily until results are visible.

  • Note: Consuming raw garlic may also produce desirable results.

4. Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)


Apple cider vinegar is an antiseptic and acts as natural toner which removes impurities and absorbs excess oil. It also restores the pH balance to the skin.


Process – 1:


  • Mix one part apple cider vinegar and 3 parts water.

  • Use a cotton ball to apply the juice to the affected area.

  • Leave for 20 minutes or overnight.

  • Use moisturizer after every wash.

  • Repeat regularly until results are visible.

Process – 2:


  • Use a cotton ball to apply pure apple cider vinegar to the affected area.

  • Leave for 30 minutes.

  • Repeat 1 – 2 times daily until results are visible.

Process – 3:


  • Add two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a glass of water.

  • Drink daily until results are visible.

5. Tomatoes


Tomatoes are high in antioxidants and remove dryness when applied directly to the skin.


Process – 1:


  • Rub half a tomato on the affected area and let it dry completely.

  • Repeat 1 – 2 times daily until results are visible.

  • Grind a tomato to make a puree or juice.

  • Apply to the affected area.

6. Mustard


Mustard contains salicylic acid, vitamin C, omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, and zinc which help rid pimples.


Process – 1:


  • Mix 1/8 teaspoon of mustard powder and a teaspoon of unfiltered honey to make a paste

  • Apply to the affected area.

  • Leave for about 15 – 30 minutes and rinse with water.

  • Repeat regularly until results are visible.

Process – 2: (Mustard Oil)


  • Wash face.

  • Mix a tablespoon of mustard oil, 2 tablespoon of yogurt, and a pinch of turmeric to make a paste.

  • Apply to the affected area and gently massage for 3 – 4 minutes.

  • Leave for 30 – 45 minutes and rinse with warm water followed by cold water.

  • Repeat regularly until results are visible.

7. Honey


Honey has antibacterial and antioxidant properties which speed the healing process and prevent infection.


Process – 1:


  • Use a cotton ball to apply honey to the affected area.

  • Leave for 30 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.

  • Note: Alternately, wear a honey mask twice weekly.

Process – 2:


  • Mix a tablespoon of honey and a teaspoon of cinnamon powder.

Process – 3:


  • Wash face.

  • Mix 3 mashed strawberries and 2 teaspoons of raw honey.

Process – 4:


  • Wash face.

  • Mash the inside of an avocado and mix with 1 tablespoon of honey.

Process – 5:


  • Mix a tablespoon of plain yogurt or milk and raw honey.

  • Apply a thin layer to the affected area and let it completely dry.

  • Apply another layer and leave for 20 – 30 minutes.

  • Rinse using a washcloth, gently scrubbing in a circular motion.

  • Apply moisturizer.

  • Repeat regularly until results are visible.

8. Peppermint


The calming and soothing properties of peppermint leaves reduce redness and irritation caused by pimples. It has antibacterial and antiviral properties which kill bacteria. Peppermint oil contains vitamins and essential fatty acids which remove pimples quickly.

  • Crush fresh peppermint leaves to extract the juice.

  • Wash face with gentle moisturizer.

  • Mix 8 teaspoons of baking soda and water to make a creamy paste.

Process – 4: (Egg White with Orange Peel)


  • Grind a dried orange peel to make a powder.
